Well yesterday Ashton started to rest back on his legs in a kneeling position without holding on to anything!

And the past week he's been letting to with one hand when holding onto something.

Good lord, 2 weeks ago he was just learning locomotion, now he's a "menace".... or as Linda said he'll soon be known as "that pesky little brother..." case in point:

OMG! Reese and I were laughing about something and she was explaining what just happened, in that same breath Ashton climbed up onto our landing tonight and turned around and promptly fell of it!!! I need to break out the extra baby gates downstairs!

Ashton is also starting to let go of things when he's standing! Good grief.... 8 days ago he was just learning how to crawl!

It looked a lot like the photos below, but these were taken under strict supervision!!!

Stinker look, and I even managed to catch him doing his backward tongue too!

Within the last 2 days Ashton has learned to drink from a straw AND has started to support himself up on ALL fours as in flat footed and hands / arms locked. I was told it looks like he's doing the "Downward Dog".... but later today he was looking up at me level.

Amazing at this time last week he was trying to figure out how to get all 4 appendages to move in the opposite directions to move forward!

Well Ashton has really had some confidence building in the last week. We are now pulling up on EVERYTHING and he's crawling! Well more like 3 of the 4 appendages are going. His right leg he uses as a counter weight to hop forward and Reese is usually laughing so hysterically at his semi-locomotion forward that he then starts to laugh and then loses his balance. But it's oh so cute, and I know that within the next week he'll be more efficient at it and it won't be as funny.... I'm relishing the giggles now.
